Blog#31: Week 15 Review

This week I started my final project, I'm not sure whether I will hand it in or not. It depends on how it turns out.(Mrs. Tollefson said we could just have our tests count as the final project) Then I also have a paper to write.

BLog#30: Week 14 Review

This week I completed the hamburger cartoon...it looks pretty cute. I think that I will look for some pictures at home this weekend that I can use with my final project. I am planning on making a cool magazine page that shows me and my horse on there.

Blog#29: Week 14 Plan

This week I will take the test for project 8 and then move on to the next section.

Blog#28: Week 13 Review

This week I finished project 8 and I finished the first two after section projects. The projects were interesting; learned how to make clip art out of an original photo and make different shapes and stuff. I am currently working on making a hamburger cartoon. I will try and take the section 8 test today.

This week I will keep working on the after section projects and then take the test on project 8. Almost done with the whole book!!

Blog#26: Week 12 Review

This week I finished section 8. I learned a lot of things such as making shapes in the background and changing the colors of images. I will start some of the after projects today.

This week I will start section 8. I did end up finishing the last project at the end of section 7 also last week.

This week I did 3 of the projects at the end of section 7. I am still working on the fourth one.

This week I will do some of the excercises at the end of section 7. Then I will start section 8.

This week I finished project 6 and I am almost done with project 7. I will try and take the section 6 test today as well.

This week I completed project 6 and I am working on the test for section 6. I also did the senior invitation project at the end of the section.

This week I will finish Project 6 and take the test.

Blog#18: Week 8 Review

This week is very hectic!! ...sandbaggin. Well hopefully I can complete project 6 and get section 5's test taken. Then I will try and do some of the projects at the end.

Blog#17: Week 7 Review

This week I completed project 5 and I also did one of the projects at the end. I did the repairing of the baby picture. I started project 6, and I still need to take the project 5 test.

Blog#16: Week 7 Plan

This week I will finish project 5 and take the test. Then if I have time I will start Project 6.

Blog#15: Week 6 Review

This week we had two snow days so I wasn't able to complete section 5. I am still working on the project 5 and it is teaching us how to clean up images with the healing brush tools. Lots of fun stuff!

This week I will start project 5 and take the test on section 5.

Blog#13: Week 5 Review

This week I completed project 4 and took the test on section 4. I put a background layer on and then inserted a music score. Then I was able to put notes on the image, a piano, and stars. I also keep on learning what all the buttons are and how to get different object on the image. It was a fun week. I liked learning how to make an image from scratch. This is definitely the kind of stuff that I would do if I had photoshop at home.

This week I am starting project 4. Then I will take the test on section 4.

Blog#11: Week 4 Review

This week I completed project 3 and took the test for section 3. The test is in the bin. I figured out the clone stamp tool that I was having trouble painting grass with. This was a cool project. I liked being able to take an object out of a different picture and then put it into another picture to make a complete one. It is amazing what you can do with computers these days!!

Blog#10: Week 4

This week I will figure out my problem I was having with the color modes while trying to paint the grass in. I will finish project 3, take the test, and start project 4.

Blog#9: Week 3 Review

I got a lot done in project 3 this week, but not quite enough to complete it. It was really cool what we could do with all of the photos. I opened up a picture of a house. Then the book walked us through the steps to put grass on the lawn, insert a tree, statues, bushes, and flowers. I was having problems towards the end with painting the grass in so I will work on it next week.

This week I will be working on project 3 and will hopefully be able to finish it (short week). I will also try and take the section 3 test.

Blog#7: Week Review

This week I completed project 2. I learned how to select items in a picture and move them. I also learned how to straighten items using the grids. It was very interesting. I took the section 2 test and it is in the file bin.

This week I will be working on project 2. Then I will take the section 2 test.

Blog #5: Reflection on Week 1

This past week I downloaded the program onto my computer, completed Project 1 in the CS2 book and took the test online. I printed it off and put it in the bin.

Blog #4: Starting in Photoshop

This week I am starting to learn in the CS2 book. I downloaded the files onto my computer and am ready to go. Since we do not have the CS2 version of photoshop, I will use the 7.0 version for my projects.

Blog #3: Creating & Reflecting

It was fun creating my blog. I started by making a gmail account and then logging in to blogger and creating my blog. I changed fonts and added some fun gadgets. My quarter project will be the test out of the cs2 book and some cool pictures that I have edited.

Blog#2: Setting a Plan

Throughout this semester I will be working in Adobe Photoshop. My reasons for this is personal and I really enjoy editing pictures. I will probably learn from a textbook and test my knowledge through the projects that I will work on. My time frame will be long-range. I would like to be graded on a weekly basis, and maybe have some big final project for photoshop.
